- New screen permission “Allow Branching of a Branched File” has been added to restrict users from creating a new branch from an already branched CAD file.
- New “Sync Hierarchy to Latest” command has been introduced to help ensure assemblies and drawings reference the latest versions of their sub-components before release.

- Creo Connector has added support for formats.
- New SolidWorks version migrate configuration setting for rebuilding configurations.
Apprentice Server Requirement for Inventor 2026
- With Inventor 2026, the Apprentice Server is no longer included by default in the installation package. Important Note for Inventor Connector Customers
Prior to the Connector 10.7 release, the Inventor Connector managed the design family links in Inventor with the Generic as the child: iMember -> iFactory. In the Connector 10.7 release, the Link direction changed. The Factory (Generic) is now the head of the relationship: iFactory -> iMember.
This change affects only the Family Table management using Inventor iFactory and iMembers. There are no changes related to the Inventor Model States. This change in the Inventor Connector has been done to improve the management of iMembers. Customers currently managing the iFactory and iMembers should migrate their database when upgrading from an older version of the Connector to Connector 10.7 or later.
