Connectors for PLM 10.11.0 Now Available

We are pleased to announce the Connectors for PLM 10.11.0 release, which addresses customer reported issues and includes a number of new features and platform support listed below.

Connector 10.11 Enhancements

  • Enhancement to the Connector Properties Grid to allow repositioning of the List and Tree controls.
  • Enhancement to the Register Hierarchy dialog to allow filtering items by registered status.
  • Enhancement to the SolidWorks Connector Modified Copies dialog to display additional status of items and allow filtering of the list by selecting items to be ignored.
  • New “essigplm_skip_part_number” property provides the ability to ignore automatic Part Number assignment to a configuration.
  • Register Hierarchy window now displays count of total items and visible items.
  • Updates to the “Family Part Number Expression” without Sequence Number behavior.
  • Improvement to the SolidWorks Register operation to only close documents that are being renamed.
  • Connector now provides pre-defined saved search criteria.
  • NX Connector supports additional properties for the storing of a BOM.

  • Connectors for PLM 10.11.0 supports Aras Innovator 14-34
  • Support for AutoCAD and AutoCAD Mechanical 2025, 2024 and 2023
  • Support for Autodesk Inventor 2025, 2024 and 2023
  • Support for SolidWorks 2025, 2024 and 2023
  • Support for NX Series 2412, 2312 and 2306
  • Support for Creo 11, 10 and 9

Important Note for Inventor Connector Customers

Prior to the Connector 10.7 release, the Inventor Connector managed the design family links in Inventor with the Generic as the child: iMember -> iFactory. In the Connector 10.7 release, the Link direction changed. The Factory (Generic) is now the head of the relationship: iFactory -> iMember.

This change affects only the Family Table management using Inventor iFactory and iMembers. There are no changes related to the Inventor Model States. This change in the Inventor Connector has been done to improve the management of iMembers. Customers currently managing the iFactory and iMembers should migrate their database when upgrading from an older version of the Connector to Connector 10.7 or later.

As a reminder, when installing the Connectors for PLM, please run the ConnectorServerConfig.exe utility to update the server to the latest Connector packages. Refer to the Connector Installation Guide for more information.
