Position Overview

Sr. Solutions Consultant is an extremely challenging position that requires a broad skill set and experience to excel in this position. The Sr. Solutions Consultant will work with a team or individually to gather requirements from clients to develop and implement solutions to meet and exceed the clients’ expectations. The solutions could range from developing and implementing a custom UI applications based on business rules, data migrations from one PLM/ERP system to another or working with the client to assist the client to gather their requirements and architect a solution.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical discussions to develop solutions for clients
  • Write and propose technical design
  • Develop and deliver custom solutions per the client requirements

Skills/Experience:

  • Knowledge of PLM software solution capabilities, such as Aras Innovator, PTC Windchill, TeamCenter, Enovia, or similar
  • Proficient in various programming languages and technologies such as C, C#, .NET, Perl, JavaScript scripting, JQuery, XML, and Web Service Integrations
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships in a team environment and be able to work independently to meet the project deliverables
  • Effective organization and time management skills, with ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledgeable in Visual Studio and Git/GitHub
  • Knowledgeable in Oracle and SQL Server Administration

Experience & Education:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering or technology related field (4 year degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of previous experience with PLM Deployments, Configurations, Customization and/or Support.
  • Work experience in the fields of New Product Introduction, Product Development Process, CMII Change Management and/or CAD-PLM Environments.
  • Experience with processing business requirements and business process definitions, application design/configuration and integrated testing activities.
  • Travel is a requirement for this position.

Essig PLM is looking for a cloud and windows system administrator to manage our growing AWS deployment of cloud based installations.

The person would be responsible for the deployment, management, monitoring, reporting, and support of the customer’s systems in AWS. This could include these aspects of Cloud Computing: Compute, Storage, Database, Networking, and Security. In addition, the administrator would support the Essig PLM application engineers.

The deployment of the systems and infrastructure would be done through the use of Terraform. The person would be responsible for running and maintaining the terraform scripts which would build the AWS infrastructure, deploy the AWS EC2 instances, configure the Windows Server EC2 machines, and verify the environment.

After a deployment for a customer, the candidate would then be responsible for managing and monitoring the systems, this would include but not limited to adding access as required for the customers, updating any security patches and troubleshooting performance issues.  In addition, updating and maintaining the terraform deployment for future releases of the base software.

2-3 years of experience with Cloud Computing, with preference to AWS (VPC, IAM, Networking, Backup, CloudWatch, GuardDuty, CloudTrail). The candidate would also need solid Windows System Administration (IIS, SQL Server, Powershell) and Terraform (programming and usage) expertise or equivalent expertise.

Knowledge with software solutions such as Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Product Data Management (PDM) would be advantageous.

Education:

BS in Computer Science, BS in Management Information Systems or BS in Information Technology preferred or equivalent.

Essig PLM is looking for an entry level customer support team member to join an existing, experienced team within our customer services team.  Essig PLM is a leading provider of product data management (PDM) and product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions and services with a focus on the discrete manufacturing industry.

Your role as a customer support representative is focused on providing best in class support across multiple software applications that we sell and support.  You’ll be responsible for first line support responding to inbound calls, emails and web inquiries from our customer portals. This may include, but is not limited to, the following tasks:

  • Responding to software related questions
  • Diagnosing and repairing issues
  • Providing timely and accurate customer feedback
  • Talking customers through a series of actions/steps to resolve an issue
  • Following up with clients to ensure issue resolution
  • Managing multiple open support calls at a time
  • Testing and validating new software releases
