SofTech Group, a division of Essig PLM, is pleased to announce that ProductCenter 9.9.0 is now available. This release improves ProductCenter usability and addresses customer reported issues.
ProductCenter 9.9.0 also includes updates to the supported platform matrix as documented in the ProductCenter 9.9.0 Release Notes. We encourage you to review the Platform Support section of this document as it includes information on new and discontinued platforms as well as suggestions on how to transition your current environment.
The following is a brief description of several ProductCenter 9.9.0 updates.
- New! Replication server encryption
- New! WebClient browser extension replaces the plugin technology for Firefox
- Database support for SQL Server 2017 on Windows Server 2016
- Database support for SQL Server Express 2017 on Windows Server 2016
- Support for Autodesk AutoCAD 2019 x64
- Support for Autodesk Inventor 2019 x64
- Support for CATIA V5-6R2018 (R28)
- Support for SolidWorks 2019 x64

ProductCenter 9.9.1, targeted for release in the April timeframe, will include support for Chrome using the new WebClient browser extension.
Note, Essig PLM will be launching a new website soon. Access to the ProductCenter support portal will be similar to the current site, although we will need customers to reset passwords to ensure site security. An announcement will be sent out in advance of the new EssigPLM.com go live.
